The story
Born at Ferguson & Young.
Formed in 2011 by fiddler Liam McGlashon, Ferguson Young grew out of Hamilton's pub and kitchen-party music scene. The band's name comes from the intersection beside the Corktown Pub — the room that became its musical home.
Today the trio blends East Coast and Celtic roots with folk, bluegrass and rock: fast fiddle lines, driving guitar, a solid low end and close vocal harmonies built for a room that wants to sing along.
